What’s up gamers, some of you have probably heard of a new kid on the block, Onset releasing tomorrow on the 13th of December.
For those of you that haven’t heard of it, Onset is aiming to be a sandbox/roleplay framework game.
It’s built on Unreal Engine, and development started in 2017. It’s going to be a PC exclusive, and the map that comes with the game is going to be a whopping 20km²! The minimum system specs are:
- OS: Windows 7 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5-750 Memory: 4 GB
- Graphics: GeForce GTX 660 2GB
Can I run my own Onset server?
According to the Onset developers, servers will be able to handle up to 300 players at a time, We’re planning to offer Onset Server Hosting as soon as possible.
Does Onset support modding?
It will include a lot of assets in the base game, which modders can use, and a Lua API similar to Garry’s Mod. You will also be able to load C++ modules on the server, to enable multi-threaded workloads.

How much will Onset cost?
According to the developers of Onset, the game is going to cost under 20 Euros. However no official price has been announced.
